Hockey Star Brad Marchand Signs Endorsement Deal with New Balance

On the brink of another NHL season, Boston Bruins star Brad Marchand has a new endorsement deal. He has agreed to a multiyear partnership with Warrior Hockey and New Balance.

Warrior is going to supply Marchand with his on-ice equipment and New Balance will outfit him in off-ice footwear and apparel. The two companies originally became affiliated when New Balance purchased a controlling interest of Warrior in 2004.

Partnering with a young player in one of the top markets in hockey certainly made sense. Marchand will bring the passion as a global brand ambassador that he displays on the ice.

Marchand is coming off a career season where he scored 85 points and notched his first All-Star appearance. He was fourth in the NHL with 39 goals.

During his first full season with the Bruins in 2011, he scored 41 points and helped them win a Stanley Cup. He posted 19 points in 25 games during the Stanley Cup playoffs.

Marchand has represented Canada internationally on several occasions, most recently at the IIHF World Championships and the World Cup of Hockey in 2016. He scored the winning goal in the final game of the World Cup of Hockey and finished as the tournament's top goal-scorer.
