GSU Names Former NFL Standout Everson Walls Speaker for Eddie G. Robinson Sr. Leadership Lecture Series Convocation

Everson Walls laid the groundwork for a successful NFL career at Grambling State University. He is returning to the school in November to speak at the 2nd annual Eddie G.  Robinson Sr. Leadership Lecture Series convocation.

The event takes place on November 14th at 11 a.m. at the T.H. Harris Auditorium. The theme of the convocation is, "The Legacy Continues: Achieving Success beyond the Football Field."

The lecture series is meant to extend the legacy of Walls' college coach, Eddie Robinson. He was Grambling's head coach for 55 years, beginning in 1941.

Walls spent 14 seasons in the NFL and was a four-time Pro Bowler. He was an undrafted defensive back who made the All-Rookie team with the Dallas Cowboys in 1981.

Walls was also a three-time All-Pro and led the NFL in interceptions three times. He won a Super Bowl with the New York Giants in 1990.
