Former Ohio State Star Braxton Miller Holds First Autograph Signing

As Braxton Miller enters the next phase of his football life, he is reminded how much a part of the Ohio State family he will always be.  Miller held the first autograph signing of his career as hundreds lined up in Dublin, Ohio in early January.

He appeared alongside another former Ohio State quarterback turned wide receiver, Terrelle Pryor, at the Sports Possessions store in The Mall a Tuttle Crossing.  Miller's signature cost $30 with inscriptions costing and additional $5.

Some people waited three hours in line to interact with Miller while others were turned away completely.  Just last week, he became a breakout star during Senior Bowl practices.

Just a few years ago, it would have seemed ludicrous that Miller was preparing for an NFL career as a wide receiver.  He was named starting quarterback at OSU in the team's fourth game during his freshman season.

Miller would go on to win Big Ten Freshman of the Year honors and then back-to-back Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year accolades.  He was also a two-time All-Big Ten first-team selection, compiling over 5,000 passing yards and 52 passing touchdowns over the three seasons.

After a shoulder injury leading into the 2014 season, Miller was switched to wide receiver entering 2015.  He became a versatile weapon in the Ohio State offense, accumulating 341 receiving yards and 260 rushing yards.
