Former NFL Quarterback Tom Flick Keynotes HDA Truck Pride Meeting Next Month

HDA Truck Pride is holding their annual membership meeting next month. Former NFL quarterback Tom Flick will serve as keynote speaker.

The title of the meeting is "Navigating Sustainable Growth." Flick will discuss solutions for managing talent, implementing technology, overcoming competition and strengthening the business for sustainable growth.

He will also discuss how to lead a changing business. The event is being held May 3-6 at the JW Marriott Grande Lakes in Orlando, Florida.

As a senior, Flick led the Washington Huskies to a Pac-10 Championship and the 1981 Rose Bowl. After setting numerous school passing records, he was selected in the fourth round of the 1981 NFL Draft.

Flick played seven pro seasons, mostly seeing duty as a backup quarterback. After retirement, he entered the realm of public speaking as an expert on leadership and change.

Flick founded Tom Flick Communications in 1989 and began speaking to educational systems. He has since consulted with organizations like Google, Starbucks and the Pentagon.
