Drew Pearson maintains a strong connection to the Dallas Cowboys and the state of Texas. The former football star will be the featured guest as a speaker at the I Love Paris event. 

The event is put on by the Paris Education Foundation and proceeds raised provide scholarships to Paris High School students. It takes place on November 2nd at the Love Civic Center. 

In addition to Pearson's presentation, there will be a live and silent auction and dinner that evening. Individual tickets are $35 and sponsorship opportunities are available. 

After going undrafted in 1973, Pearson spent his entire 11-year career with the Cowboys. He went on to become a three-time Pro Bowler and three-time first-team All-Pro. 

Pearson collected 7,822 receiving yards in his career and at one time was Dallas' all-time leader in the category. He played in three Super Bowls and won Super Bowl XII. 

Pearson is a member of the NFL 1970s All-Decade Team and the Dallas Cowboys Ring of Honor. He has held several positions in broadcasting and coaching during retirement.
