Boston Celtics Head Coach Brad Stevens Speaks at Boys & Girls Club Breakfast

Boston Celtics head coach Brad Stevens has reached the top of his career, but he still remembers where he came from. He was back home on August 12th as the guest speaker at The Boys & Girls Club of Zionsville's Be Great Breakfast. 

The event was held on Stevens' old home court at the West Club. He talked about the life lessons he learned at the club and what work they do for Zionsville youth. 

Stevena also answered questions from the audience. In addition to his presentation. the Club presented their Youth of the Year winners. 

This past season, Stevens led the Celtics to the best regular season record in the Eastern Conference. In his four seasons in Boston, the franchise made the playoffs three times. 

Stevens previously was the head coach of Butler University for six seasons. The Bulldogs were back-to-back NCAA runner-ups in 2010 and 2011. 

Butler won three Horizon League championships under Stevens' watch and he was a two-time Coach of the Year in the conference. He began his coaching career as an assistant at the school from 2001-07.
